Ma-Rè was born on the island of Capri, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, but its story began way before that.

Born in Melbourne and shaped by the Sydney coastline, where nature, the ocean, and clean living were simply part of everyday life, that connection to the natural world stayed with me throughout my life and carried through more than twenty-five years working across the global beauty and fashion industry.

In 2018, I moved to Milan, where a new chapter began. It was a city that had inspired me since childhood—a place synonymous with fashion, beauty, craftsmanship, and creativity. In many ways, it was the city that first inspired me to pursue a career as a makeup artist.

But it was during a trip to Capri that everything came together. Sitting on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by the scent of wild botanicals carried on the sea air, the idea and the name for Ma-Rè arrived.

The philosophy behind the brand is simple: what we put on our skin matters. After years working in the beauty and fashion industry, and years of seeing facial oil serums consistently outperform more complicated routines, I found myself returning to the same conclusion: effective skincare doesn't need to be complicated.

I created Ma-Rè as a return to simplicity. Thoughtfully formulated facial oils inspired by nature and designed to support healthy, balanced skin.

What began as something shared with clients, colleagues, friends, and family has grown into something much larger. Yet the intention remains the same: to create honest, effective skincare that brings people closer to nature through simple, purposeful formulations.
